Barangay Berong is one of the coastal barangays located in the municipality of Quezon, Palawan. It is known for its rich natural resources, clean environment, and friendly community. The barangay serves as a home to hardworking residents whose main sources of livelihood include fishing, farming, and small-scale businesses.
As a growing community, Barangay Berong continues to improve its public service by embracing digital innovations that make government transactions faster and more convenient for its residents. However, traditional processes such as manual scheduling of appointments and posting of barangay updates often lead to delays, confusion, and limited access to information—especially for residents living in remote areas.
To address these challenges, the Digital Barangay Appointment and Updates System was developed. This system aims to provide a more efficient and organized way for residents to:
• Book appointments online for barangay services such as clearance, residency certificates, and other documents.
• Receive updates and announcements about community activities, public advisories, and government programs.
Through this digital initiative, Barangay Berong seeks to enhance transparency, accessibility, and service efficiency, promoting a more connected and informed community while reducing the workload of barangay officials.
